Magnetic Separation Pilot Plant Project In the Philippines

This project is a pilot plant of magnetic separation for our customer in the Philippines. The design criteria of the pilot plant is 3 tons per day and operates 8 hours per day. According to customer’s requirements, major equipment are as below:

 

1 x Jaw Crusher which can accommodate 45mm feed size and can produce 20mm product size.

 

Capacity: 1 Ton per hour

 

Size: 4’’x12’’ (gap opening)

 

Electric Motor: 5HP/220V/3 Phase

 

It must include below:

 

A.   Electrical connections and local control switch

 

B.   Elevated from the ground with metal stair/ramp

 

C.   Vibrating screen:

 

Size: 20’’x48’’ (effective area of screening)

 

Nominal sieve opening of 10 mm (1.5 mesh)

 

Motor Drive: 1/4HP, 3 phase, 220V

 

1 x Conveyor System Facility

 

3-ply, 0.4 meter wide troughed belt conveyor (compatible for ore transport)

 

Length and inclination of the conveyor should be enough to effectively transport the ore from Jaw Crusher to Vibrating Screen

 

Electric Motor Requirement: 3HP, 220V, 3 Phase

 

It must include all necessary support pedestal gear motor drive, all necessary electrical connections, safety steel catwalk, safety pull wire switch, safety guards at every dangerous part of the conveyor normally accessible to the personnel.

 

1 x Roll Mill which can accommodate feed size of 20mm and can produce 10mm product size.

 

Roll Size: 12’’ diameterx14’’ length

 

Electric Motor: 3HP, 220V, 3 Phase

 

Capacity: 1 cubic meter

 

Thickness: 6mm

 

Material: Mild Steel Plate

 

It must include electrical connections and local control switch, safety guards at every dangerous part of the conveyor normally accessible to the personnel, fine ore bin with conical bottom.

 

2x Rotating Ball Mills plus Steel Balls and Hydrocyclone Classifier which can accommodate 0.375 tons dry ore feed per hour or 0.13 cubic meter per hour.

 

Mill Size: 30’’(diameter)x72’’

 

Electric Motor Requirement: 3HP, 220V, 3 Phase

 

It must include appropriate cast iron or forged steel balls (with varying sizes), necessary electrical connections, water and slurry piping, appropriate conveyor belt feeder, 3-ply, 0.4 meter wide rubber belts, with variable frequency drive control panel, appropriate sump box, connections, centrifugal slurry pump, spare cyclone, safety guards at every dangerous part of conveyor and mill normally.

 

1 x Magnetic Separator which is a permanent magnetic drum type and a wide selection from the ultra high magnetic force.

Drum Length: 600mm

 

Flow Capacity: 0.20 cubic meter per hour

 

Motor Requirement: 3HP, 220V, 3 Phase

 

It must have safety guards at every dangerous part of equipment normally accessible to the personnel, appropriate sump boxes for the magnetic materials and final concentrate and all electrical connections.
